central city location, spacious twin rooms, impressive lobby art
The bathroom could use some repairs, with visible tile damage!!! Also, a longer distance from the train station makes for a longer walk, which is less than ideal when arriving tired!!! More hangers would be appreciated during winter!!!

The spacious twin room offered two semi-double beds and a sizable bathroom that provided ample relaxation. The aesthetic of the hotel stood out with impressive art pieces in the lobby. Despite the central location, the trek from the station took about 15 minutes on foot. A recommendation for local culture is a visit to the nearby Yamagata museum.

Family friendly stay
We had a huge triple room with enough space to move the beds around, made it feel like we were a family of four together. The hotel had a cozy breakfast setup with excellent pain au chocolat that was to die for.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable for what we got.

Our stay in the Standard Triple Room was fantastic! The room was spacious and allowed us to easily arrange the beds together for a cozy family setting. The bathroom was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The hotel's location was also very convenient for exploring the nearby attractions.
The walk from the station was a bit longer than expected.

missingWrote a review on Jun 01musty airlow-quality breakfast
I had great expectations for my stay, but everything fell short. The air quality in my room was terribly musty, making it hard to breathe comfortably. Additionally, the outdated and non-functioning toilet was such a disappointment. I could hardly bring myself to use the dirty shower, and breakfast was just bland and very low quality. To top it off, the hotel charged me for two nights even though I checked out early. they agreed to modify my reservation but then refused to adjust the bill when I tried to resolve it.

Additionally, the exquisite art in the lobby created a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were consistently helpful and polite during my visit.
The walk from the station was a bit long, and transport information wasn't readily available.

The rooms were super spacious for our family, and the breakfast was a hit with the kids. We loved the variety, especially the kid-friendly options. The location was great for exploring nearby attractions like the Yamagata museum, which was a delightful treat for all of us.
My kids wished there were more activities for them on-site to keep them entertained during downtime.

The stay was enjoyable due to the spacious triple room, which allowed us to comfortably arrange the beds for our family of four. The proximity to local restaurants and shops made it easy to explore the area on foot, which we appreciated. One downside was the check-in process. we later discovered that a bus service to the station would have made our arrival easier, but this information wasn’t available upfront.

The triple room was huge and super comfy! We pushed the beds together and it felt like a cozy family nest. There were extra blankets available, and the pillows were nice too. Moving the furniture around was cool and gave us space to chill. Pretty impressed with the size! The bathroom was decent too, which is always a plus.

Staying in the Standard Twin Room offered a comfy setup with two semi-double beds, providing cozy space to unwind. The hotel's lobby features impressive artwork and sculptures, showcasing Yamagata's vibrant artistic culture, and the room's larger-than-average bathroom added to the overall relaxation.
Getting to this place from the train station is a bit of a trek, with a solid 15-minute walk involved, which can be cumbersome, especially if you're dragging luggage. it's handy for a quick 10-minute ride, but could've been easier to spot in the hotel info. Also, I picked this spot for its private onsen amenities, only to find them closed during my stay, which was disappointing after a long day out.
